Content Engineer

At lakeFS, we’re closing the infrastructure gap in data and AI by enabling teams to manage data like code. As our Content Engineer, you’ll drive content creation across formats, build and manage interactive digital campaign tools, and serve as the team’s AI specialist – helping the marketing org leverage AI and automation to work smarter and faster.
You’ll work cross-functionally across Marketing, Product, and Community to produce content that drives awareness and build the systems that scale our efforts..
What you'll do
- Create high-quality content across formats – blog posts, tutorials, social media, newsletters, and campaign assets – that educates and engages our technical audience.
- Design and build interactive digital tools (calculators, assessments, checklists) using no-code/low-code platforms or basic front-end code to support demand gen campaigns and capture leads.
- Serve as the marketing team’s AI specialist: evaluate tools, build agent workflows, and train team members on AI-assisted content and campaign creation.
- Manage the company blog and social media presence, maintaining a consistent publishing cadence and voice.
- Develop repeatable content systems and templates that improve efficiency and quality across the team.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on launches and campaigns, contributing content and digital assets.
- Track content performance and use data to inform strategy and prioritization.
Requirements
- 4+ years in B2B content marketing or a hybrid content/technical role
- Familiarity with developer and data engineering audiences and ideally experience in data infrastructure, developer tools, or cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to write clearly for technical audiences – blog posts, documentation, tutorials.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools (LLMs, coding agents, workflow automation) to improve marketing output.
- Strong technical fluency – comfortable with APIs, basic scripting, and marketing automation platforms.
- Comfortable using analytics tools to measure content impact and inform decisions.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy.
- Prior experience working in distributed global teams.
- Strong visual and written communication skills.
